By actively gathering reader feedback, it has developed topics and content that really matter to its readership. In Lenzburg, BrainE4 was used to actively involve local people in planning the future of their forest. This open invitation to participate brought together 213 fresh ideas, which were prioritized by citizens in 11,521 rounds of voting. This resulted in a plan that is not only based on broad consensus, but also takes into account the different needs in terms of infrastructure, leisure and nature use.

Innovative co-creation in the education sector

Something new has been tried out in Hedingen: Together with the residents, ideas were collected for the school room design of the future. For four weeks, anyone could make suggestions on how the school space should be designed. Over 6,000 votes were cast and a large number of ideas were submitted.

Optimizing the framework conditions for SMEs

The Hightech Zentrum Aargau (HTZ) launched an innovative IdeaARENA to improve the framework conditions for SMEs in Switzerland. Almost 100 members took part in this participatory dialog process and contributed their opinions and ideas. The discussion focused on issues relating to financing, the reduction of bureaucracy and knowledge transfer, which are of key importance to SMEs.

The KMU Swiss Symposium has given the go-ahead for an exciting project: Together with the members, they want to redesign the member experience at KMU Swiss. All members were invited to tell us openly what they want and need. With the help of BrainE4, they were then able to submit their ideas directly and provide feedback.

Increasing employee satisfaction

A company was faced with the problem that many employees were leaving and the reasons for this were not clear. To solve this, they started a process with BrainE4 to find out what employees really think and feel.

Neighborhood electricity initiative in Turgi

The Neighborhood Electricity Initiative was launched in Turgi. Together, they have focused in particular on solar power (photovoltaics), collecting and evaluating ideas. The great thing about it? In a Legal Lounge, with the support of BrainE4, experts discussed artificial intelligence (AI) in the world of work. They are of the opinion that AI could soon take over 80% of all routine tasks, while at the same time the knowledge of employees can flow together in a "super brain". The Swiss Transit Lab investigated what people really think about self-driving buses in the city of Schaffhausen. They found out what they want and what worries them. These insights were incorporated into the improvement of STL line 13.

Coworking at the Macherzentrum Lichtensteig

Together with BrainE4, the Macherzentrum Lichtensteig has brought a breath of fresh air to the coworking scene. Now that working from home was no longer compulsory, they were looking for new ways to make the coworking spaces more appealing.

Building renovation in Lichtensteig

Lichtensteig was faced with the task of renovating around 100 old buildings in order to increase the value of the properties and the town's income. To achieve this, the town launched a project to renovate the buildings with the help of BrainE4. An open exchange with the property owners was encouraged in order to develop new renovation ideas together.
