B4 Population dialog
The challenge
For more than ten years, the regional conference for the Nördlich Lägern site has been working intensively on the effects of a planned deep geological repository for radioactive waste. While safety is the top priority, the quality of life in the region should be maintained and promoted in the long term.
To create a sustainable vision for the future that is supported by the population, it is crucial that local people actively contribute their ideas and suggestions.
The solution
The focus was on the 2050 vision, which defines Nördlich Lägern as a natural, progressive region – a place that invites people to live, work and spend time there. Citizens had the opportunity to actively shape this vision through their contributions.
✔ Submit ideas for the future of Nördlich Lägern
✔ Evaluate and jointly prioritize proposals
✔ Help shape sustainable development
The results
The collected ideas and assessments form the basis for future measures and negotiations.
